As part of a development team, we advised the land owner/our client, Land Securities, over a period of several years to secure outline planning permission for up to 314 residential units on a former sports field which totalled some 20 acres.

Due to the sensitive nature of the change of use, it was essential that we worked closely with our client, the local planning authority plus the local community. By understanding everyone’s needs a successful outcome was achieved and we subsequently represented the owners in selling the site to Persimmon for £50m.
